Student Application


Thank you for applying to become a student for Hogwarts! We select only the best to be a part of our school, so be sure to submit the application to the best of your ability.

PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW the following tips to ensure your application will be considered:

- THERE ARE NO GIRL SPOTS AVAILABLE!Sorry about this, but we have all the girls we need. If you are still interested in being a part of Hogwarts, perhaps fill out a professor application, or contact the Headmistress with other ideas.

-Do NOT use ANY names from the Harry Potter books. Any applications with names that bear any resemblance to any character will be immediately deleted. If you have a name you would like to use but are unsure of, please make a note of it and I will assist you in your choice.

- Be very creative! This is a role-playing site after all, so the more in-character your application is, the better. Also, make your character interesting! Let me know all the good and bad things about you, all your traits and quirks! Originality is key.

- ALL FIELDS ARE REQUIRED. Users who send blank applications will have their IP address banned and will not be able to apply ever again.

- Do NOT submit one-sentence explanations. There are thousands of things to write about and writing an explanation that says "I have black robes and a wand" makes me very, very unhappy. Any applications like this will be deleted immediately and will not be able to apply again.

- Use proper spelling and grammar! Applications with spelling and grammar errors will be disregarded. Please use capital letters when needed and please spell-check your explanation when you are done.

- Allow me to give you a hint: I will spend more time looking at application which have multiple paragraphs of information. While shorter explanations will of course be read, if you write an essay about your character, I will be extremely pleased, and will most likely accept you immediately.

  • Please write a paragraph or two explaining your characters looks, abilities, and traits, both good and bad. This is the most important part, because it tells me everything there is to know about your character. Also include the history, such as what family they are from. You can make it like a short story, if you please. You are welcome to include anything you want about your character. Please be very creative!!! The better this is, the more likely you are to get into Hogwarts, and perhaps have a greater chance at becoming important figures such as Prefects, Head Boy/Girl, and/or Quidditch captains. Also, spelling and grammar are very important. Applications with these mistakes will be deleted immediately.
