Classes
There are six classes available in total: Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Divination, Interspecies Relations, and one more class to be announced. Students choose three classes to take for the first half-term. They are to participate in these three classes only for the first half-term. When the second half-term starts, all students will take the remaining three classes. Students may repeat a class only with permission from the Headmistress and the professor of the class, and then will have that class as a 4th class. Students are to complete each week's homework assignments for their classes to earn house points. They may also do extra-credit work. Students are not to do work for classes they are not enrolled in. Students may not switch classes. Student who do not do their homework will lose house points and may eventually be eliminated from the class. Therefore, it is highly advised that students complete homework assignments. Students who show exceptional performance in their classwork will have better chances at becoming Prefects, Head Boy/Girls, and/or getting a position on their house's Quidditch team.

Common Rooms
Students may chat with other students in their house in the common rooms. Heads of Houses may post bulletins in the common rooms, as well as students who perhaps lost something or need help from someone. No student is allowed to enter the common rooms of other houses. Any student who gives their common room password to a student of another house will earn detention and may possibly face expulsion.

House Points
House points are awarded by completing homework assignments every week. Each completed homework assignment will earn the student's house 10 house points. Extra credit work may earn 5 house points. House points may also be awarded by completing various tasks, and by special occasions. House point totals will be updated at the end of each week. At the end of the term, the house with the most house points will be awarded the house cup.
